If you aren't familiar with the acting "troope" called Improv Everywhere, then you have to check them out. They are a riot! In this fun escapade the Improv Agents staged a wonderful artsy hoax - a fancy schmancy gallery opening on a NYC Subway platform. Everything was fair game and labeled as a piece of art, including the trash cans and the lady sitting on a bench.
This is one of over 80 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past seven years in New York City. Others include Frozen Grand Central, the Best Buy uniform prank, and the famous U2 Rooftop Hoax, to name a few. Visit improveverywhere.com to see tons of photos and video of all of their work, including behind the scenes information on how this video was made. Can't wait to see what they come up with next! They are...JUST COOL!

What a fantastic idea. I love what Improv Everywhere does. I also enjoying looking through the toast art :)
