Last December an unusual restaurant opened on the corner of Prince and Elizabeth Streets in New York. At La Cave des Fondus the fare is not unusual - true to it's name it specializes in tasty fondues. It's the bottle service that you'll find a bit different since wine and other beverages are served up in baby bottles instead of classic stemware. Jacques Ouari, owner of the Manhattan restaurant strived to make this restaurant a faithful replica of the fun Montmartre restaurant Le Refuge des Fondus in France, where Parisians eagerly suck down their wine just like real babies suck down formula.

But what about the sanitary factor? The health department gave Oari the green light to open as long as all bottles went through the dishwasher. Still, how sanitary can that be? Really... eeeewww... I think I'll stick with my platex disposable bottles. ( Place looks JUST COOL though )

It sounds like a rerun of a Friends episode. Ross and Rachael split - then Rachael finds out she's with child, and the two get back together. It was made for tv but now it may be the real life sitcom. Rumor has it that Jennifer Aniston and her rocker beau of less than a year John Mayer are indeed expecting. After a brief split, they are now on again.

Heres a preview of what we might be seeing in the tabloids in six plus months.

science :: baby making experiment

Just for kicks I decided to make a few babies today. Over at MakeMeBabies.com you can upload pictures of yourself and your mate, your friend or fantasy. You can even hook up with such celebrity hotties as Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt,Marilyn Manson, Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie, etc etc and through the magic of morphism it creates a photo of your future child.

I played around with a few combinations, but still wasn't convinced by the generic results. So....I decided to experiment. This time I tried two dogs, a Westie and a Boston Terrier . To my horrific surprise this is what makemebabies came up with. Their offspring - a human child! Meet Bostie, the canine couples new baby girl.

Although it isn't very accurate, I guess it's still JUST COOL! And fun.
