If these recycled,renewable,sustainable,biodegradable,refrigerator safe and microwaveable plates aren't JUST the COOLEST thing! Verterra produces these plates as well as it's other "green" tableware from fallen leaves, a bunch of steam and a whole lot of pressure. I love the modern bamboo-ish , woodsy look to these. And even though they are made as "one use" plates they are still reusable. Something we all like! (hmmm...wondering if they are dishwasherable too)

I'd certainly feel better about eating off of these plates than styrofoam ones.
Wow, what a great find! These remind me of the company Wasara who have a line of 'gourmet paper plates'. Even though they are made of paper, the design is fabulous.
