art :: honey I shrunk the kids on the chocolate eclair

Take a close look at these incredible edible landscapes! Paris-based artists, Pierre Javelle and Akiko Ida like playing with food and have turned it into an art. Their tiny plastic people navigating delicious gastronomic delights are photographed in closeup and landscape view, and comprise their MINIMIAM series of diptych photographs created between 2002-2008. Each is a whimsical collaboration of micro-photography, culinary art, portraiture and landscape and involves action, ranging from sporting scenes to warfare, taking place in carefully staged, fantastic, food settings.

Place graham cracker sheets in the bottom of a 13 by 9 inch baking pan or dish, coated with cooking spray. Mix the milk, pudding mix, and cream cheese together in a bowl with a mixer until combined and thickened. Fold in the Kool Whip. Then pour half of the mixture on top of the graham crackers and spread evenly across the graham crackers. Top with more graham crackers, make them even and flat across so the frosting is flat and even across the cake.
