Food :: top chef dreams

After watching a bunch of Top Chef reruns on Bravo this weekend, I've been stirring around the idea of checking out what kind of culinary programs are available on the internet. No, I'm not talking about for my daughter Libby and her job/career quest. Forget her, its my turn!

So I found one interesting website called Culinary Schools USA. It has a huge listing of cooking schools with loads of information for choosing which one is right for you, so you can slice and dice your way to a successful career in the culinary arts. It conveniently lists cooking schools by state and gives interesting and informative suggestions on the different aspects of training and becoming (what I found interesting) a member of the hospitality industry, which is second in size only to the government, employing more than 11 million people. So , yeah, there are a lot of opportunities out there! The website also describes all the different cooking programs. Heck, there's even one just for pastry and baking. So if you're thinking of going into the culinary arts, plus you want to see some obcenely delicious photos of epicurean delights, I suggest you check the website out. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be a cheftestant on Top Chef and meet that cute head judge, Tom Colicchio too ;)
