If your small home is short on storage, but big on clutter, here's a simple solution. Stair drawers. Keep the clutter to a minimum, step by step! These drawers would be perfect for stashing shoes, mittens and scarfs, books, papers - yup, just about anything.
These actual stairs were pictured in the Vogue Living Australia Before+After Autumn/Winter 2007 issue, with no manufacturer's credit so I don't know where you could purchase these, but the concept seems easy enough for you to transform the stairs you already have, or to add to the new construction plans.
JUST COOL, aren't they?
