Toy design :: Hot Barbies

I knew Barbie Dolls were collectible but I didn't know how much so until I checked out The Barbie Collector Shoppe. Heck there's a Barbie to match every celebrity and character you can think of! My favorite has to be these cool Mod Squad Barbies. Their hip outfits with bold graphic design and mod sixties hairstyles really reflect the "groovy" pop culture movement of the 1960's.

These are from the The PIVOTAL™ MOD BARBIE® DOLL ASSORTMENT GOLD LABEL™ COLLECTION for 2009.

Unfortunately they aren't available until February 2009, but you can pre-order them here! Hey I wonder if they carry those fabulous mid-century modern Barbie furnishings and accessories their posing with, too.
