Do you love to bake? Are pies one of your specialities? Do you have a favorite pie recipe that your family and friends rave about when ever you bring it to the table? If so, now is your chance to enter the Great American Pie Contest sponsored by Branson Missouri, and Taste of Home Magazine. The contest will take place at the Branson Convention Center April 24th and 25th and you could win several fabulous prizes, the grand prize being $2,500 in cash plus a trip for two for a 4-day/3-night fun-filled vacation in Branson.Al Roker from the Today show will be hosting the event which will be judging four pie categories, Fruit Pies,Nut Pies,Refrigerator/Freezer Pies and Pudding/Cream/Custard Pies. 12 finalists will be invited to present their pies at the show and you could be one of them. Once you are chosen as a semi-finalist, or just want to enjoy the show, as a spectator, you have some great accomodations to look forward to.
