How would you like this hunk of crap sitting around in your living room? I'm sure this chair would get quite a few comments. Actually it's really kind of cool when you find out how and what it is made of.
Rhode Island School of Design student Sarah Engelke, transformed the armchair with her own custom upholstery by stripping it down to it's bare bones, photographing the frame and reupholstering it with iron on transfers of the photos. I've always been a fan of Trompe L'Oeil or fool the eye painting but uh...well... this is something different.
